The Spark of Inspiration
Here's a short post for a little encouragement:
Life gets in the way sometimes, and we can lose our desire for things that once bought us a lot of joy. Things happen, and they kind of seem to suck the life out of us, right? Then, we wonder if we'll ever get those desires back like we had them before...because truth is, we want to do those things, but we have little-to-no motivation to actually do them.
That's where inspiration comes in.
Inspiration can be defined as: the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.
Lots of things can inspire us: people, places, nature, music, etc. God can work through anything or anyone to provide us with the inspiration we need. Sometimes he'll lead us through tough seasons in life, and we come out stronger - and maybe even a little wiser. It's seasons like this that can inspire us to produce something, because that 'something' will honor God by showing or telling someone what He has done for us. Maybe you're inspired to write a book, or poem, or song, about what God has done for you in your life. And maybe the work you put out is exactly what someone needs to see or hear for encouragement or hope. You never know, so just go with it.
Inspiration is like a spark; it ignites something that's already inside of you - it's just waiting to bloom. So let whatever gift God has given you bloom into something beautiful.
